To My Love
If you were not there
I might have been nowhere
I loved you a lot
But lost you at last
For no fault of mine
I consider it an act divine
We loved without lust
We didn’t grumble about it much
We learned
How love rises ambition
How loves teaches submission
How love ennobles
How divine light kindles.
Had you not come in my life
I would have been half dead
I would have been half alive
I would have no courage
I would have no face for this life
I wouldn’t have known how to accept defeat
I wouldn’t have known how to accept beatings
Yet keep my head high
Yet strive, in storms of misfortune
Yet live to remain alive
For all the failure that came in my way
I felt the destination is far away
I felt the destination is far away
Love taught me sacrifice
Not possession at any price
Not possession at any price.
Mind
Mind is clean and clear
Like water of springs in Kashmir
Without an iota of evil
Without sorrow or fear
See no evil
Mind is devoid of devil
Man is born free
Mind is born free
Society makes a man’s mind
Of one or the other kind
Equality of Man
It is enshrined in many constitutions.
All men are, or born, equal
Their rights are equal
Their opportunities shall be equal.
I ponder how can all men be equal when millions are doomed
Starve and die as they do not have right to work
No means of livelihood
No roof on their head
No medical care for them
For old and infirm there is no pension.
Thus man’s equality is a farce
If all men are to be equal,
Though born unequal,
They should have equal right to education
No destination between rich and poor
When they grow up,
They should have guaranteed job
Minimum decent wage
All should have access to similar health service
Not that rich go to Five Star Hospitals
And poor wait for admission in General Hospitals.
Unless such provisions for equality are enshrined
The constitution, to the uplift of poor, remains blind
Democracy is aristocracy
Mention of equality in constitution is hypocrisy.
Guru Nanak – The True Apostle
If you need a Guru to guide you through
He should be like Nanak Guru
Who used to mind buffaloes in childhood
Worked as honest retailer during his boyhood
Thereafter he walked thousands of miles
With Bala and Mardana on both sides
To preach oneness of God
He walked upto Kashi, Tibet and Mecca
When Babar invaded Hindustan,
Killing and torturing all who did not embrace Islam
Even saints like Baba Nanak were not spared
Guru Nanak too was imprisoned
He complained to the God
The protecter of all
Why the almighty allowed Babar to torture us all
Put children and their mother to sword
Who dishonoured and enslaved thousands of women
Sent many to Gazni for auction
Though Baba despised Babar
For acting as Barbarian
He considered Hindus and Muslims alike
Those who did good deeds were divine
Thus
Guru Nanak was worshiped by all as a saint
As he had seen the light divine
He would not say his word of God
Instead Nanak called himself servant of God—-
Nanak Das or Nanak Gharib
Not wearing silk clothes that sparkle
To such a Guru ‘Chan’ bows with humility
Applies on his forehead sacred dust of his feet
So as to try to lead life of piety

Continuous Decline in Popularity of Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh
During last few years, particularly during last few months there has been constant and continuous decline in the popularity of Sonia Gandhi and Man Mohan Singh government. They are seldom together in public and speak to public. During last few days their popularity has further declined as never before as there has no economic reforms worth the name or could be mentioned particularity in the field of economics which is only important sphere which can improve the condition of poor, now more than 40 percent of the population . Since 2000 India has been facing decline in economic development as well as world-wide reputation. The decline in proportion and popularity commended with few years of BJP rule. But there after it has been further Deterioration. Worst was congress rule, more particularly during the last few years. Worst crisis came to be witnessed as never before in India’s history when there was no work in Parliament in 2011 but even throughout 2012 as the economic condition of the world and India, too, is continuously going from bad to worse and there appears to be no chance of recovery. Already 40 percent people have come below poverty line. If conditions do not improve, as is feared, soon there will be 50 percent people of India below poverty line as never before.
It is shocking to note that Industrial output in India has fallen during 2011, particularly lowest in October 2011 since 2009. In October 2011 it fell by 7%, i.e. worst performance. What are its repercussion on Indian workers, particularly now more than 40% poor Indian’s their family’s livelihood as it has led to high inflation particularly in food articles of daily use like rice, wheat and pulses and also vegetables. Manufacturing sector was also hit by rising interest rates and decline in mining output. Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) which is being set aside because of opposition by the BJP and other opposition parties like CPI will further lead decline.
There has been deadline for 9 days till government bowed and Pranab Mukherjee announced in Parliament on Wednesday the 7th November 2011 that government has decided to hold back “Implementation” of its policy of foreign direct investment. Though it is temporary but it pacified the opposition parties like BJP. Pranab’s announcement in Parliament though half hearted said “The decision in permitting FDI in multi – brand retail in suspended in developed among various stock brokers.
Fall in Industrial Output of India During October 2011
It’s shocking to note that Industrial output In India has fallen during 2011, particularly lowest in October 2011 since 2009. In October 2011 it fell by 7 percent i.e. worst performance. What are the repercussion of this unprecedented fall on poor workers, particularly on more than 30% poor Indians on their family’s livelihood as it has led to high inflation particularly in food articles of daily use like rice, wheat and pulses and also vegetables. Manufacturing sector was also hit by rising interest rates and decline in mining output. Foreign direct Investment (FDI) which is being set aside because of opposition by the BJP and other opposition parties like CPI will further lead to decline.
There has been deadline for 9 days till government bowed and Pranab Mukherjee announced in Parliament on Wednesday the 7th November 2011 that government has decided to hold back “implementation” of its policy of direct investment. Though it is temporary but it pacified the opposition parties like BJP. Pranab’s announcement in Parliament though halfhearted said “The decision in permitting FDI in multi brand retail in suspended is developed among various stock brokers”.
Fall in industrial output is due to inflation and resulting price rise because of faulty economic policies followed by government and graft or corruption has led to fall in industrial production all over India. If government is unable to find a way to increase industrial and agricultural production, the opposition has asked the “government to quit” as it has no business or right to remain in power and rule the country. Leader of the opposition in Parliament, Suslima Swaraj.
Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) has pointed out to six scams as 60,000 tonne of food grain” is rotting in godowns” while government has taken a loan of Lakhs of crores of rupees from reserve Bank of India (RBI). Even planning commission Vice Chairman. Montek Singh Ahluwalia came under attack with questions being asked in Supreme Court.
Replying to criticism by the opposition, Pranab Mukherjee, Finance Minister of Govt of India said “it is not correct to say that government has not done anything”. But it is clear from his own statement and opposition’s attack that what government did was not adequate to improve the conditions of workers and poor Indians to improve their conditions or by not letting it deteriorate during 2009 to 2011.
Death trap – Vidharba India must wakeup
Every year about 600 or more poor farmers commit suicide or die because of starvation. It is strange rather shameful, not only for Maharashtra as well as for Pawar who has been minister since long and belongs to Vidharba and has just ignored so many deaths every year. Even government of India is answerable for so many Deaths every year in Vidharba as neither the state government, nor central government has taken appropriate steps, in time, to prevent repeated suicides and starvation deaths every year. Why? Is Vidharba not part of Maharashtra or even India? The criminal negligence every year can not be forgiven.
India must wake up so that India, which is considered greatest democracy in the world, does not get bad name as the worst democracy in the world because already Parliament of India has not functioned for almost 10 days. This is itself is disgraceful and can not be forgiven by Indian citizens of whom more that thirty percent are below poverty line and are continuously suffering for decades with no real and substantial efforts by the central government or state governments concerned to prevent starvation deaths.
Anna Hazare and his team have again challenged the government, emphasizing that protection given to bureaucrats is going to encourage corruption in India as bureaucrats protect all the employees under them to save their own skin. Team Anna has insisted that even group C employees should come under Lokpal Bill, through Lokpal Bill panel is yet to finalize its report which naturally will include all bureaucrats (babus) as well as all employees even class IV employees under the ambit of Lokpal bill. Team Anna has also invited politicians for thorough debate. If Anna’s demands are not accepted by central government Anna will undertake a fast in near future to get attention of the central government and senior bureaucrats, so that there are no further death traps in Vidharba and other parts of country.
There are deaths because of starvation in other parts of country in Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala and even in Uttar Pradesh, but not to that extent as in Vidharba. It will be proper to have thorough investigation by Supreme Court. But it will be important if investigation is time bound so that its recommendations are implemented forthwith. It seems apt to suggest that Sharad Pawaar should be forced to resign by people of Vidharba and even whole of Maharashtra.
UPA II in Turmoil – Possibility of its Fall.
BJP and it allies have been gaining strength and correspondingly UPA II has been declining now UPA’S long standing ally was openly opposing UPA because Karunanidhi’s daughter Karimazhi continued to be in jail. But with the release on bail of Karimazhi and four others, UPA II has pacified its ally Karunanidhi. But crisis of UPA II remains as BJP and its allies are determined to challenge UPA in Parliament and if possible to bring it down, if there is voting.
BJP and its allies are determined to carry on their agitation and protest both inside and out of Parliament. Thus they have not allowed Parliament to function for lost so many days. UPA is helpless because if there is voting UPA is likely to be defeated and thus may be ousted.
On the other hand Anna Hazare is also determined to bring down UPA as it is not conceding all the demands of Lok Pal bill proposed by Anna since long. Anna, too, is determined to continue his agitation with tens of thousands of followers, till his demands are accepted in to to. UPA is unable to accept all demands of Anna Hazare because that will mean not only decline of UPA II but its end or fall of UPA government. It could lead to fresh elections in which BJP and its allies with the support of Anna Hazare are likely to come in power even before 2004 elections.
Parliament has not been functioning for more than a week. It is has never happened before in India and nowhere in the world where there are functioning democracies. Coming few days are crucial, particularly the next week. If there is no agreement between opposition led by BJP and UPA in the next week. If there is no agreement between opposition led by BJP and UPA in the next few days, there is likelihood either through voting or even otherwise because of none functioning of Parliament, there are two possibilities, either likely voting out of UPA or even its own decision to quit world is watching the unusual happenings in Indian Parliament. It is already a blanish on world’s quatest democracy which India has been credited for long.
Because of crisis in Parliament, economic growth has come down to 6.9 percent which is lowest in two years while care sector is down as never before to 0.1% which is atleast considered lowest during last 5 years. Opposition questions as to why CBI should be under government and as so for CBI has been and even today functioning as a department of government, it has no value or importance.
Opposition is opposed to FDI and wants it roll back immediately while UPA is adamant that it will not roll back FDI Anna Hazare has also opposed Foreign Direct Investment which will lead to ownership of importance industries into foreign hands. Lokpal has demand that to end corruption at the lowest level all the 57 lakh class IV employees should came under Lokpal. It means that not only middle and upper class bureaucracy but even the lowest level government workers should be under the ambit of Lokpal bill. Infact opposition demands through Lokpal bill that entire bureaucracy without any exception should be under Lokpal bill. To this UPA can never agree. Thus fight between opposition and government will continue.
Nuclear Iran Cause of Panic in Israel
It is noteworthy that 95 years old widow of one of the founding father of Israel attend in Tel Aviv works that started both the Israel and adjoining Muslim countries, even far off Iran that “Zionism has run its cause,” meaning not only decline but fall of Israel as dominant power in West Asia is imminent. To recollect, Israel was a dominant in West Asia because of American support and America having it armed even with nuclear weapons that in six day war in 1967 Israel captured in adjoining Arab continue prominent places like Gollan Heights, Gaza, East Jerusalem without any resistance from Arab countries. Thus Israel’s area becomes more than double than what was given to Israel by West and America in 1960 or so. After adding so much more territory Israel in last sixty years because of wars and conquests at the cost of adjoining Muslim countries, Dyan, rich with memories of Israel then and its present territories said “I am a peace maker but the current Israel government does not know to make peace, we move from war to war and that will never stop. I think Zionism has run its course” These are the words of a man who took part and even led many battles to acquire more and more territory for Israel at the cost of many lives both of Israelis and many more of Arab neighbours.
Ruth was very much upset and even worried because she was not feeling safe at any one place and was shifting from one area to another for safety. That is what became the fate of Ruth and her family, what would be the condition of others who could not speak or shift from one place to another?
Israel should forget that it was a dominant power for sixty years or so and captured territories belonging to adjoining Arab countries. Times have changed. Israel itself is in danger if the adjoining Arab countries attain peace and unite against Israel. American president Barak Obama is himself worried. He has cautioned Israel. Russia and China who are biggest traders with Iran have objected to any sanctions against Iran in Security Council Israel should be made to understand by America and west that striking Iran would be much more dangerous for Israel.
Now Israel’s very existence is at stake. Any wrong step by Israel, like threatening Iran with nuclear weapons can not be of any use. It is better for Israel to voluntarily return the areas like Golan Heights and West Bank voluntarily because its adjoining Arab countries are rising. Once they are able to end civil strife in their own countries and are in a position to unite, they will capture the areas like Galon Heights and west bank and even pose a threat to Israel very existence. The words of 95 years old Ruth, thus may become true that Zionism has run its course meaning it has no future and it means that even Israel has no future, its very existence is in danger as predicted by 95 years old Ruth
